Continuous Passive Motion Equipment
Recovering from joint surgery or injury requires proper movement to prevent stiffness, swelling, and loss of mobility. Continuous Passive Motion (CPM) therapy is a proven technique that uses motorized equipment to gently and continuously move the joint in a controlled motion, aiding in faster recovery and improved range of motion.
CPM devices are particularly beneficial for patients recovering from knee, hip, ankle, elbow, or shoulder procedures. By providing passive movement without requiring patient effort, they help reduce pain, improve circulation, and minimize inflammation, making rehabilitation more effective and comfortable. The adjustable design of CPM equipment ensures it can be customized to fit different body types and therapy needs. HMS Medical Systems proudly offers KNEEFLEX and KNEEFLEX Es, two advanced and durable CPM machines designed for lower limb rehabilitation. Built with precision engineering and user-friendly controls, these devices set a new standard in physiotherapy treatment, helping patients regain mobility with ease.
Continuous Passive Motion Equipment

KNEEFLEX® Es
KNEEFLEX Es is advanced and trend setter Continuous Passive Motion therapy (CPM) from HMS R&D. KNEEFLEX Es is designed indigenously with international standards with incomparable quality. Continuous Passive Motion is a postoperative procedure designed to aid in patient recovery after joint surgery, soft tissue surgical procedure or trauma. The treatment method has been practiced for more than 30 years. This unit is typically used postoperatively for total knee replacement and Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) repairs. Passive range of motion moves the joint gradually and slowly without the use of patient’s muscles.
